MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – March 7, 2011 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Eric R. Munson, III, Robert Littlefield and Wayne Carr
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Board of Selectmen discussed statewide mutual aid with Eric R. Munson, Robert Littlefield and Wayne Carr. The Board of Selectmen has chosen to opt it. Opting in does not require Tolland to provide mutual aid if doing so is not reasonable and practicable.
Discussed Fire Department’s Fiscal 2012 budget request with Robert Littlefield.
The Tolland Volunteer Fire Department has authorized $6,000 to purchase a Rescue Truck and $5,000 for the purchase of a commercial stove that will be installed in the Public Safety Complex.
